Solar Power Plant Suntastic One & Suntastic Two

Project Description

According to the project, the solar power plant is installed at an appropriate ground location and is intended for self-consumption with partial feed-in to the grid.

Project Information

MT-KOMEX was entrusted with the construction of two modern ground-mounted solar power plants — Suntastic One and Suntastic Two — located in the Municipality of Aleksinac. These projects represent another important step in the development of renewable energy in Serbia and are designed to generate electricity for delivery to the national power grid.

Designed in accordance with the highest standards of the modern solar industry, the power plants combine high-quality equipment with advanced digital solutions, ensuring efficient, reliable and stable operation over the long term.

Suntastic One

The Suntastic One solar power plant was constructed using 16,608 Luxen Solar photovoltaic modules, model LNVH-625ND, each with a rated capacity of 625 Wp.

For the conversion of the generated electricity, the plant is equipped with 28 Huawei SUN2000-330KTL-H1 inverters, each with a nominal output capacity of 300 kW. Electricity is transferred to the distribution grid through three transformer substations with a voltage ratio of 35/0.8 kV.

The mounting structure was supplied by Kıraç Metal, providing long-term durability and resistance to a wide range of weather conditions.

Suntastic Two

The Suntastic Two solar power plant comprises 8,400 Luxen Solar LNVH-625ND photovoltaic modules, each with a rated capacity of 625 Wp.

The system is equipped with 15 Huawei SUN2000-330KTL-H1 inverters, each with a nominal output capacity of 300 kW. Two 35/0.8 kV transformer substations were constructed to enable connection to the electricity grid.

As with Suntastic One, the mounting structure was supplied by Kıraç Metal.

Huawei Jupiter Transformer Stations

Prefabricated Huawei transformer stations were used for the first time on this project. These intelligent, factory-assembled substations are specifically designed for large-scale solar power plants.

The Huawei Jupiter solution integrates medium-voltage equipment, a power transformer, low-voltage distribution equipment and Huawei string inverters into a single, factory-tested system. This significantly reduces the time required for installation and commissioning.

Jupiter transformer stations are designed for use in utility-scale solar power plants, where they provide high energy efficiency, simplified maintenance and increased system availability. Their integrated design reduces the number of interconnections required on site, minimizes the risk of installation errors and contributes to lower overall construction costs.

The main features of Huawei Jupiter transformer stations include:

  • Integration of multiple Huawei string inverters with the power transformer and medium-voltage switchgear;
  • Prefabricated and factory-tested design, including Factory Acceptance Testing;
  • A high level of protection and resistance to demanding outdoor operating conditions;
  • Support for digital monitoring, diagnostics and remote control through the Huawei FusionSolar platform;
  • A modular concept that enables straightforward system expansion in line with project requirements;
  • An optimized equipment layout designed to reduce losses and improve overall energy efficiency.

 

Through the digitalization and integration of all key system components, Huawei Jupiter transformer stations enable more efficient plant management, faster fault detection and lower operating costs throughout the entire service life of the facility.

The solution is particularly well suited to large-capacity projects, where reliability, standardization and rapid commissioning are of critical importance.

Combined with Huawei SUN2000 string inverters, the Smart Transformer Station concept and the FusionSolar platform, the Jupiter transformer station provides a comprehensive solution for modern photovoltaic power plants. It enables high energy yields, advanced monitoring and seamless integration into the electricity grid.
